    1. It should work because
      1. This settings are taken from the GLO office
      2. I have crosschecked many times and have surely typed everything correctly
      3. This settings worked for me and others

It may not work for you because
      1. You are not in Ghana
      2. You did not enter the settings correctly
      3. The network strength may be too low

Please ensure you have entered the settings correctly. Good luck

  2. These are for phones. What about modem?

    1. The Glo modem is pre-configured with the settings. To use an unlocked modem or a universal modem, you may need a software like mobile partner. You will need to use the above APN, USERNAME and PASSWORD in configuring it.

  6. If one is using mobile partner, pls what do u have to enter as the APN and access number when u are using a decoded modem with a tigo chip in it.

  7. pls is the proxy address the same as dns address?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nope, you may want to leave the DNS as it is (as 0.0.0.0). You might also prefer to use Google DNS (8.8.8.8). However, it works perfectly with the DNS not set.

Please Glo Internet has moved from 3G to EDGE and it makes my browsing booring...Why?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This may have happened because
      1. Your network type setting may have changed. Go to your modem software settings and changed the network type to WCDMA, HSPA or something similar. (Not EDGE or GSM)
      2. You have probably moved to a low service area. Check the network strength and ensure that GLO has 3G capability in your area.
      Good luck!!
