Automatic internet settings for mtn and airtel Ghana

To get the settings for internet sent directly to your phone, you would have to send a text to the network short codes listed below. If your phone does not support automatic configuration, a message will be sent to you to notify you.



For MTN and Airtel (zain) automatic settings. Use the short codes below:

  1. am using LG LG-P999DW phone, and after texting SETTINGS to 4777 i am to follow instructions to save settings, but i do not get any instructions. what to i do?

    1. What operator are you on? (Airtel, Glo, MTN, Vodafone?)
      Usually, you'll be sent a message with the option to save setting instead of read
      Once you save, it should be configured.
      You can use the manual settings since the automatic does not work on all phones.

  2. Hi I'm using samsung galaxy grand duos running on jelly bean, i have receievd and saved the internet settings from m network provider but still not able use internet by using mobile data network. I'm using Airtel. please help

    1. Your phone should have an option to set the default configuration to use for accessing the internet. Its mostly settings->Connectivity->Internet (or something like that). Contact me for a walk through.
